Recruitment Network Sales Representative
Red 7 Media, recently ranked by Inc. Magazine as the #1 fastest growing private company in periodicals, is seeking a full-time classified sales representative for our two major recruitment Web sites: FolioCareers.com and EventCareers.com. This position proactively solicits new business for our niche job boards and recruiter services. This position will also manage assigned or designated advertising accounts in the employment segment of classified advertising and generate awareness of our recruitment products within the industry.
Primary responsibilities:
- Solicit new non-existing recruitment business within the publishing and event markets.
- Prospect competitive mediums to obtain recruitment leads.
- Solicit new recruitment business by performing daily sales calls over the telephone and via e-mail and setting teleconference pitch meetings with top industry companies for higher-end multi-listing and advertising options.
- Reach or exceed monthly sales goals for online recruitment products.
- Upsell and expand relationship with existing recruitment product customers.
- Upsell recruitment add-ons, frequency, positioning and other opportunities.
- Monitor trends, changing needs of recruiters and partners; suggest changes and adjustments in the sales and marketing process; work with supervisor and print/interactive teams.
- Coordinate offline billing, inter-department coordination of product sales opportunities
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- At least two years selling classified or similar advertising.
- Previous experience in the media space magazine, online, and/or newspaper preferred but not required.
- College degree in sales, advertising or marketing; or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, customer service skills, self-starter with great initiative.
- Solid understanding and use of core Microsoft products and other online customer relationship management tools such as ACT.
- Excellent reading comprehension; written and verbal communication skills.
