Red 7 Media and Kellogg Media Group Form Alliance to Drive Event Business to Las Vegas

Companies to Jointly Develop Publications for the Corporate Event Market

NORWALK, CT (October 30, 2006) – Red 7 Media, a magazine publishing company based here, announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Las Vegas-based Kellogg Media Group (KMG), publisher of What’s On, The Las Vegas Guide, to develop products that provide event professionals with information on event venues and resources in the Las Vegas market.

The first product, due out in early 2007, is The Las Vegas Experience: Experiential Events, being produced by What’s On in collaboration with Agenda USA, the 18-year-old venue and event publication that Red 7 Media acquired in September. The Las Vegas Experience will provide event-related information to event professionals in major markets around the country who are considering Las Vegas as a destination for their corporate meetings and special events.

What's On is the primary source of information on entertainment and attractions, as well as what to do and where to go for some 38.6 million visitors to Las Vegas annually. This alliance marks What's On's growth into the corporate events market via Red 7 Media's access to corporate and special event planners outside the Las Vegas market.

Las Vegas represents the seventh dedicated region served by Agenda, which has existing directories targeted specifically at the New York, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Northern California and Southern California markets.

Agenda will also be expanding it national Venues Guide to include more listings and product descriptions from Las Vegas, fueled by What’s On’s efforts in the local market.

Additionally, Red 7 Media and What’s On plan to explore other opportunities and develop products to further serve event professionals in the Las Vegas market. Red 7 Media also publishes Event Marketer, which is read by 10,000 corporate event professionals who use live events as a part of brand-building strategies, and Event Design, for 10,000 builders of events, exhibits and environments. Among the company's flagship events is the annual Experiential Marketing Summit, held each year in Chicago and attracting more than 1,000 corporate and agency event executives.

"This is an exciting alliance, as it combines the visibility and long-standing relationships of the What’s On brand within the Las Vegas market with vehicles that we have to reach corporate event planners outside of Las Vegas," commented Red 7 Media President and CEO Kerry Smith.

"Partnering with a ‘best of breed' business publisher like Red 7 Media enables Kellogg Media Group to better serve our major hotel and casino customers in a very significant business segment for them," added David Peeler, KMG’s president and CEO. "Professional events, meetings and conventions represent $7.6 million annually to our local business economy."

Red 7 Media, founded in 2002, publishes magazines and newsletters, produces executive conferences and seminars, and creates custom marketing and lead-generations programs in the event and publishing industries. The company's publications include Event Marketer, Event Design, Agenda, FOLIO Magazine, and Circulation Management Magazine. Among its flagship events are the annual Experiential Marketing Summit, the Event Design Forum, the FOLIO Show, the FOLIO Publishing Summit, and the Circulation Management Conference & Expo.

KMG's What's On, The Las Vegas Guide is dedicated to providing visitors with a comprehensive, colorful magazine about Las Vegas and surrounding areas. What's On can be found all over Las Vegas. Copies of the magazine are complimentary and distributed in nearly all of the city's hotels, casinos and executive suites. It can also be found in hotel rooms as well as at ticket booths, vacation counters, gift shops and VIP, bell and concierge desks. What's On is exclusively distributed by Allegiant Air and on Bell Trans and Coach USA buses that pick up visitors at McCarran International Airport and take them to hotels along the Strip and in Downtown.
